SMEPOS was initiated in 2008 as a subsidiary of The SME Investment Group.

Established as an independent organization, SMEPOS is focused in the importing and distribution of computer products and peripherals in Point Of Sale Equipment, All-In-One Computers, Touch Screens and Interactive Kiosks into South Africa and Sub Sahara Africa.

As a young organisation in “The SME Investment Group” structure, the ethos of SMEPOS is built on 25 years of experience with leadership from organisations such as Jensen Electronics, an organisation known for its introduction of brands such as Kyocera, Seikosha and Citizen into the South African market.

Employing the same respectful and dedicated approach towards its suppliers and customers, SMEPOS aims to emulate the same product strategy from Jensen Electronics in the point of sale arena by introducing new brands of products that have four balancing synergies in quality, price, functionality and aesthetics.
