Kappetijn Knives is a purveyor of fine handmade damascus & stainless steel knives in classical designs appealing to a wide customer base; including knife collectors. We also supply quality damascus steel billets and water buffalo horn plates at very reasonable prices. While we retail from this website, our products are also available on wholesale basis to retailers and on-sellers. Knife dealers dealing in quality knives are welcome to contacts us.
Our knives are handcrafted by master craftsmen to exacting standards. No two knives are exactly the same. Because our knives are handcrafted, production volume is limited, providing a high level of exclusivity.
Our knives are made from the finest 420C stainless steels and damascus steel (combination of 1065 Carbon Steel and 4340). Damascus steel patterns available include raindrop, twist, ladder, random& reverse patterns. Blade thicknesses are substantial. All knives are heat treated to exacting requirements to ensure long lasting cutting edges without compromising blade toughness.
Our handle materials include water buffalo horn, bone, Turkish walnut and stag horn. This provides for an endless variety of handle finishes and textures; further enhancing the uniqueness and exclusivity of each knife we sell.
All knives are supplied with custom made leather pouches and sheaths. It can be truly said that our products are made to last a lifetime of use and enjoyment.
Over and above the knives available on this site, we also manufacture to order. Larger orders of custom designed will be entertained.
