Toy Run®

The Toy Run® is the largest motorcycle charity event in the world, with over 50000 participants region wide. There are 19 recognised Toy Run's in Southern Africa with two main objectives:

To improve and enhance the image of motorcyclists in their communities

To collect and distribute toys and gifts to less privileged children up to 18 years.

The Toy Run® held in Cape Town usually attracts upwards of 15000 motorcycle enthusiasts and approximately another 5000 general public visitors over the duration of the event, held the last Sunday of November annually. The Cape Town event is also aligned to the National Toy Run® Forum and has access to a national network, distributing relevant information via the over 18 other Toy Run events region-wide. The Cape Town event has achieved iconic status with the City of Cape Town and enjoys extensive media coverage prior to and during the event.
