Here at Luminessence Photography we take an alternative approach to photography – we don’t use studio lighting but rather shoot from the hip (or rather, heart). When we see a beautiful moment and know it’s right we capture it immediately, creating magnificent visual moments out of the most ordinary things and shooting larger, more complex subjects with visual grace.

With over 18 years of photographic experience and big corporate names under our belt, as well as being qualified graphic artists, we have the knowledge and skill to manipulate light, shape and colour to capture powerful commercial photographs or to shoot beautiful people or nature photographs that record the humility of the moment. Photographs, unlike video give the viewer the chance to be alone with his or her thoughts and to truly absorb its charm.

With our normal photography rate of R500 p/h this is a deal not to be missed. Check out our portfolio and brace yourself to be impressed!Additional time can be negotiated at a discounted hourly rate.Personal2.5 hour shoot at R625We are real peopleâ€™s people and therefore love working with families, children and pets. As parents, grandparents, and dog-lovers we have the magic to capture those precious (and often spontaneously funny) moments on film. We will come to your home (or another location of your choice) and do a beautiful shoot that you can treasure forever. Check out our portfolio of personal shoots to see what we mean! This package is ideal for couples/engagement shoots, family shoots, engagement- anniversary- and birthday parties, or even special pregnancy shoots.Additional time can be negotiated at a discounted hourly rate.

Terms:

All photography will take place at a location of your choice subject to the terms below. A photo shoot appointment is essential. All high resolution images will be provided on disc and must be collected from Luminessence Photography in person, or can be sent via courier overnight to door at an additional charge of R100. Alternatively you can send your own courier company to collect. Includes batch retouch only. This price includes travel within a 40km radius of Hillcrest, Durban. Any further travel will be charged at a per km rate. We currently do not offer studio photo shoots. A non-refundable 50% deposit is required at the time of booking an appointment and the balance is due prior to collection/shipment of the disc.
