Exceptional Customer Service Training Program Launched In Johannesburg

By Derrick Markotter, 04.06.10 | Comments
Johannesburg, South Africa 3/6/2010 -

Manto Meiring, Training Manager at IdealMedia, announces the launch of the company's one-day Exceptional Customer Service training program, on the company's new website at http://CustomerSatisfaction.co.za.

Mr. Meiring has successfully trained dozens of employees in the retail sector, but emphasises that customer satisfaction should be a primary concern for businesses of all sizes and in all market sectors.

"One of the most effective marketing tools is good customer service, which is a powerful way for a business to increase their market share simply by treating new and existing customers in the way they would like to be treated. South African businesses have a reputation for poor customer service, and we feel that assisting businesses to improve the way they interact with customers is of immense benefit in both the short and long term," says Meiring.

The Exceptional Customer Service training program is intended for anyone who interacts with customers, whether internal or external. In addition to customer service representatives, this includes positions such as receptionists, technical support representatives, sales engineers, field service technicians and waiters.

Attendees will become aware of the importance of customer satisfaction not only to the survival of the organization as a whole but also to their own job satisfaction.

Some of the key learning points covered in the workshop are:

- Understanding how to create a lasting positive impression by focusing on the customer's needs.

- Discussing ways to achieve exceptional customer service for both internal and external customers.

- Examining ways to handle customer complaints in a positive light, and how to resolve problems.

- Re-evaluation of communication skills both face-to-face and electronically.

The workshop explains the relationship between exceptional customer service, job satisfaction and business growth in a way that will enable frontline associates and service staff in back-up and support roles to build and maintain a loyal customer base.

The training program can be adapted to address the specific challenges faced by a particular business.
