Moreira Celebrates Football Fever at Cape Town Fan Park

Moreira Chonguica, regarded as one of Africa's top jazz saxophonists, with a plethora of prestigious awards achieved throughout his career, has been invited to perform at one of the country's most memorable and iconic events - The 2010 Soccer World Cup Moreira will perform at what's been named the main Cape Town Fan Park for the 2010 Soccer World Cup, on the Grand Parade, Tuesday 15, June 2010 at 18h00- no cover charge.

As many football fans gather to witness this significant event, Moreira will perform a selection of contemporary, cutting-edge jazz tracks taken from both his award-wining albums, 'The Moreira Project - Volume I - 'The Journey' and "The Moreira Project:  Volume 2 - "Citizen of the World'.
