Tom’s Drag Collection Now Available in South Africa

Fine Art Portfolio secures exclusive rights in South Africa for internationally renowned artist’s work.

The Fine Art Portfolio, which represents a collection of established South African art galleries and artists, has secured the exclusive rights to distribute Thomas Hoffmann’s Drag Collection in South Africa.

Presenting the eclectic and eccentric Tom’s Drag Collection, offering interior accessories, ornaments, objets d’art and furniture. Interesting and quirky designs, embellished with bright and bold hand-paintings, including 24 carat gold leaf, make each piece in the range a unique artwork of meticulous hand craftsmanship. The range is made of a hard and durable baked resin composite or fine porcelain, which is then hand painted to give it a personality of its own. This design oriented range of collectables comes in four different styles namely country, colonial, modern and Asian.

German-born designer Thomas (Tom) Hoffmann is passionate about living life to the fullest and delights in the amazing diversity of the world around him. These two characteristics are what fuel his fantasies. His range was first conceptualised following the terrifying 9/11 disaster which struck New York in 2001. While the world tried to come to terms with the tragedy, Tom was inspired to create a few items to give to friends that Christmas, to encourage them to smile again. This was the birth of Tom’s Drag Collection.
