By Amy-Lou Francis Ansell, 08.02.10 | Comments

“Mr. South Africa has declined his invitation to the Mr. World Pageant 2010 in Korea”

Johannesburg 8th February 2010 – Torn between two choices our beloved Mr. South Africa, Stephen Segal announces to South Africa that he will not be attending the MR. World Pageant in Korea. Stephen will be co-presenting a new lifestyle television series “Life a journey” with Zuraida Jardien, commencing on SABC on the 7th of April.

Stephen wowed the audience with his good looks, personality and charm during the MR. South Africa pageant last year held at Carnival City on Saturday 14 March.

Stephen acclaimed; “As MR. South Africa 2009 I have had the privilege to work with amazing people. The Opportunity arose for me to represent my country at the World Pageant 2010, to be held in Korea. This opportunity for me was an absolute dream come true to be able to represent my country. I was then very fortunate to be offered another opportunity. My decision was a heartbreaking one to make, two dreams, one path to follow. In the end I decided that my family and country needed to benefit from my decision and so I chose to decline the MR World invitation”

Jaco de Bruyn is Steven’s first runner up and will be taking over to participate in the MR. World Pageant.
