Between 2004 and 2008 I developed residential properties at the high-end of the residential property market for Irish investors. All my projects had very successful outcomes (the properties collectively sold for R64mil).

Some of my achievements were:

- Collective sales of R64mil.

- At the time the highest price achieved for a sectional title development in Higgovale, Cape Town.

- At the time one of the highest prices achieved for a house in Llandudno, Cape Town.

After the last project I had sourced and developed was sold, Ireland withdrew from South Africa as their country had gone into a recession. Following this, I decided to start my own property development company, Bowmont Group (Pty) Ltd.

Bowmont would like to continue doing residential developments at the high-end of the spectrum (where our previous experience lay) and would also want to venture into the area of ‘green’ low-cost housing development.

Bowmont is dedicated to implementing and upholding green-building practices. Green, or sustainable building is the practice of creating and using healthier and more resource-efficient models of construction as the environmental impact of buildings become more apparent.
