NetMechanic Grabs Gold

On December 15 NetMechanic won the Gold SA Web Award from SA Web Awards for their newly revamped website.   

The SA Web Awards was launched in 2003 and quickly became South Africa's top website review site. Their aim has always been to recognise South Africa's top web design talent. Websites submitted to SA Web Awards are evaluated according to four categories: content, layout, functionality and overall appeal. 

According to David Whitehead from SA Web Awards, ‘the last Gold winner we had was in September 2009. Since then we have reviewed nearly 1,200 websites, and roughly 66% of those failed to win any SA Web award. About 32% win Bronze SA Web Awards, and we usually have 1 or 2 Silver winners each month.  But a Gold SA Web Award is something we don’t often see!’

The newly developed NetMechanic website hosts many little treasures including useful tips in our new blog section, a quick start project planner and lots of great freebies for our much loved website visitors. A major factor that sets this site apart from competitors is the fact that it was built by our uniquely developed content management system called NetToolbox.  Secure access and a seamless web based front end including features like content manager, portfolio manager, media manager, blog and so much more has made NetToolbox a system that our clients prefer to use.
