The Hoedspruit Endangered Species Centre Hosts Cheetah Conservation Training Prgrammeo

The Hoedspruit Endangered Species Centre (HESC) welcomes guests to get involved in a hands-on approach to conservation and wildlife educational programmes through the Centre’s ‘Cheetah Conservation Training Programme’ which runs from Tuesday 19, July until Monday 08, August 2011. The programme invites participants aged between 18 and 35 years old. Cost R14, 400.00 for RSA residents and for non-RSA residents R18,000.00.
Students will have the opportunity to be involved in the preparation of animal food and feeding, the possibility of working with the wildlife vet (darting, capturing and operating on animals), assisting in the hand-rearing of animals as well as local community involvement by visiting schools in rural areas.
