KK Engineering's Display Equipment, Accessories and Gondola Shelving

KK Engineering was established in 1964 and to this day is still a family owned and managed business. The business was registered as a company in 1968 and since the early 80's started trading as KK Display. In 2008 the trading name  KK Display was changed to  KK Shelving, and the newly acquired factory in City Deep would trade as Storequip, under the Storequip Group.

Over the period to date the Company has developed and manufactured approximately 5000 different components and continues to look at innovative new products. A philosophy of quality and service has always been the priority and today, KK Shelving and Storequip are market leaders in display equipment and gondola shelving. Storequip, in the new factory, will focus on the heavy duty gondola shelving systems as well as the light to heavy duty industrial racking systems.

The 2 group owned premises are situated in Tulisa Park and City Deep, Johannesburg, measuring approximately 37,000 square metres with 25,000 square metres under roof. The manufacturing plants feature many computerised presses and bending machines, laser cutters, CNC wire formers, 6 inline punching and rolling lines, 6 powder coating lines, 2 electro plating plants and a well equipped tool room. 

The company offers complete turnkey projects of retail, wholesale and industrial racking installations accompanied by CAD drawings, equipment supply and installation of large super stores internationally.
