Moreira Pays Tribute To Africa @ Company Gardens

Multi award-winning jazz saxophonist and ethnomusicologist, Moreira Chonguicaaccompaniedby The Moreira Project, has been chosen to be part of the line up to perform a selection of his unique style of funky jazz music at the ‘Cape Town Festival', Sunday, March 20, 2011 with Moreira on stage between 15h00 and 16:00 at the Company Gardens, Cape Town.

Moreira will play a selection of contemporary jazz fusion tracks from his two award-winning albums – ‘The Moreira Project:  Vol 1 - The Journey’ and ‘The Moreira Project:  Vol 2 - Citizen of the World’.

Other performers include - Chad Saaiman, Cape Flats Tenors and African diva, Judith Supuma throughout the weekend long concert.
