Kurland Hotel Launches 2011 Chef’s Table
The award-winning Kurland Hotel, Plettenberg Bay, a proud member of the Relais & Châteaux Association, will launch its 2011 season of Chef’s Tables created by the Hotel’s Head Chef, Leon Coetzee.
One Wednesday each month, Leon will present his very own, private ‘Chef’s Table’ in the form of a tasting menu consisting of six decadent courses served in the Hotel’s intimate Dining Room at a cost of R300.00 per person.
Seated at a long elegant dining table, guests will be informed about the preparation as each signature dish is served and also have the opportunity to interact with Leon as he guides guests through each dish and educates one and all on the origin and significance of the ingredients used.
Comments Coetzee:” Each ‘Chef’s Table’ offers a private dining experience with unique tastes and textures; no experience or menu is ever the same. Guests will now have the opportunity of learning while dining on a signature menu. This also gives us the opportunity to inform guests about healthier food alternatives and how they too can implement an environmentally aware lifestyle in their own kitchens.”
This new addition at the Hotel complements the substantial organic herb and vegetable garden which the Hotel has become renowned for and forms part of the Hotel’s extensive food and wine experiences.
Advanced bookings are essential. Please contact 044 534 8082 or email reservations@kurland.co.za for further information.
