Family Fun Day at Kenilworth Racecourse 11 Dec 2010

Cape Town Summer, Read and Write Literacy Programme will host a family fun day with a Christmas Party. The day will be held at Kenilworth Racecourse on Saturday 11 December 2010 from 12.00 pm to 16:00 pm, Entrance is FREE.The day will include a broad range of activities, including face painting, jumping castles, water slides, magicians, clowns and more. Everyone is welcome and  Families are encouraged to pack picnic baskets and join in the free fun filled day.

Our objective through this day is to engage Cape Town communities (businesses, families and kids) in a relaxed family outdoor environment and create awareness for Read and Write Literacy programme that enrich child’s vocabulary, reading skills and language use. RaniComm SA and RAW will be treating 200 underprivileged children from various communities and organisations with lunch and gift packs.

All local businesses and organisations are also invited to participate and contribute in making this a fun filled and memorable day for all the children in attendance. RaniComm SA’s MD Naushad Khan said, “this is a wonderful way to celebrate the festive season with fellow Capetonians.”
