Hunter’s Country House Welcomes Summer In True Culinary Style

Hunter’s Country House, Plettenberg Bay, home to the famous Sage Restaurant, has unveiled its new format dinner menu, aptly called, ‘All-Stars’, created by leading Head Chef, Tanja Kruger, starting from just R160 per person.

This new menu format offers guests the opportunity to choose from 5 signature menu options - Chef’s Choice four course menu - R325.00, Chef’s Choice three course menu-R275.00, Chef’s Choice two course menu - R198 and Chef’s Choice one course menu - R160 per person.

Main course offers a selection of sumptuous dishes such as free form lasagne, twice baked carrot and ginger soufflé, pan seared fish of the day, Port Elizabeth farmed prawn curry, pan seared springbok loin, rack of Karoo lamb - tradition with a twist, sticky pork belly and hot smoked baby chicken.

The grand finale to this new dining experience consists of the popular Hunter’s famous soufflé or be tempted by the variety of desserts available including passion fruit rum baba, the study of chocolate, blue cheese trifle, caramelised pineapple, carrot fondant or vanilla yoghurt panna cotta.

An assortment of fine, local cheeses are served with biscuits, freshly sliced fruit and preserves for R90.00 per person supplement and a tasting portion for R52.00 per supplement.
