The prestigious Ceramics SA Exhibition Showcases at The Gallery @ Grande Provence Heritage Wine Estate

The Gallery at the five star Grande Provence Heritage Wine Estate, Franschhoek, showcases the much anticipated CSA (Ceramics Southern Africa) national exhibition from Sunday 10 October 2010 at 11h00 until Wednesday 27 October 2010 with Jeffrey Oestreich, American Master Potter as the opening speaker. A special preview is available on Saturday 9, August.

Ceramics Southern Africa, aimed at promoting, marketing and teaching ceramics, presents two categories within this exhibition – ‘Ceramics for use’ and ‘Ceramics for Expression’ providing a wide spectrum of ceramics on show from dinner services, clay sculpture to tea pots and figurative art.

Oestreich has been invited to South Africa to give a series of workshops as part of the build up to the National Exhibition. He will be the Award Judge for the Exhibition which carries a Premier Award worth R10 000 as well as other prizes.

Jeanette Unite – a photographic installation can also be seen in The Project Room, which is a new extension to The Gallery, running from the day of the opening until Wednesday 01, December 2010.
