What is Uhuru about?

By Sbu, 11.02.09 | Comments

It seems slavery is heading towards extinction BUT most of us are still mentally imprisoned.

For those of you who have had the pleasure of traveling on the African continent I am sure the word 'Uhuru' will mean a lot, especially in Kenya, Tanzania and Malawi! Literally meaning freedom just about everything from Mt Kilimanjaro (the locals call it Uhuru peak), to the Tazara rail; called the Uhuru Express is named 'UHURU'. In the name has been used to an extent to where the Boers have suggested that UHURU will happen when Mandela dies whereby the black people of will attack chase out all whites inhabiting the country.

Uhuru means “freedom”- freedom to choose, freedom to be, freedom to grow.

Uhuru means "Freedom" -- freedom for all Africans from entrenched government bureaucracies, negative thinking, and actions that undermine the rule of law -- that is our mission and sole objective for the Cradle of Civilization.

We will educate, motivate, and ultimately liberate all Africans from historic poverty and failed governmental systems via free market principles and the rule of law not the cult of personality. Our mission is clear for Africa -- wealth and health for the entire continent versus the neo-imperialism of international aid.

UHURU is here, and we are here to stay, a line of clothing that makes a statement, one that teaches, motivates and reminds us that Each One MUST Teach One is an essential step that we all have to make in life.
