Big Walk 2010

It is that time of year again! After what has been a fantastic few months for South Africa and the City of Cape Town, Discovery and the Cape Times proudly bring to you the 2010 Discovery Cape Times Big Walk. This is the chance to all Capetonians to revel in the beauty of the Mother city and pay homage to what has been an historic era in our history by walking the streets all across the city.

New for this year is our amazing Fan Walk route. Relive the atmosphere at the FIFA World Cup by taking an 11km walk from Green Point towards town on the world-famous Fan Walk. The vibe will undoubtedly be electric and it will be one event that should not be missed.

The event this year will take place on Sunday, 14 November. If you want to enter you can do so from 1 October. In 2010 we are once again offering our early entry special. If you enter before 18 October, not only will you guarantee your goodie bag and the delivery thereof (Cape Town based only) you will also automatically stand in line to be 1 of 90 lucky winners to walk away with their share of R90 000. Entries close on 25 October.
