Star Trac Vehicle Tracking makes another vehicle recovery
The call came into the Star Trac Vehicle Tracking national control centre around 10:55 AM Wednesday 25 August 2010. A KIA K2700 bakkie had just been stolen in Johannesburg CBD.
The driver had gotten out of the vehicle not 10 minutes earlier to make a delivery. When he returned the vehicle was gone. Star Trac’s team went into action and within a few minutes had a ground reaction unit on its way to the GPS coordinates given to us by the advanced tracking device.
AT 11:24 AM the ground reaction notified the national control centre informing us of the vehicle’s successful recovery. A tow truck was arranged by Star Trac to collect the vehicle and return it to the client’s office. Total recovery time: 29 minutes
Star Trac vehicle tracking is happy to announce the vehicle was back at the client office before lunch.
