Networking4Africa attracts top on-line marketers

By Kim, 10.08.10 | Comments
Networking4Africa is attracting the top Internet marketers across the globe.  Over the last three weeks, more than 70 000 people around the world have visited the Networking4Africa web site, many of them joining the business which has the goal of raising money for projects in Africa.

Networking4Africa has a current Alexa ranking of 395 025 globally, is in the top 60 000 in the USA and in the top 10 000 in Finland.

The business is already attracted on-line entrepeneurs from over 100 different countries who have aligned themselves with the philosophy of giving to the less fortunate.  Networking4Africa has proved hugely popular in delevoped countries like the USA, Canada, UK and Australia and is getting substantial support from India, South Korea, and the Philippines.

When asked what has made the business so successful, Steven McGregor who is one of the founders said "people have been aware of the plight of African children for some time and yet have not really been afforded a real opportunity to involve themselves in a way that Networking4Africa offers.  I am sure the World Cup football held recently in South Africa has assisted raising awareness, but I think that in hard economic times, people's sensitivities are increased as to the hardships that others experience."

Mr. McGregor ascribed the popularity of the business to a number of criteria, including the fact that there are in the region of 132 Million people globally who participate in on-line or Internet marketing, and this business accesses these people and aligns itself with their existing efforts of making an income via the Internet and secondly, the fact that the needs of children in Africa are so great that people are willing to do something to make a difference.

"Internet marketers like to ensure that the business they support are sustainable and comply with the necessary regulations" said McGregor.  "The company is registered and fully complies from a legal standpoint, in addition, all monies raised will be subject to independent accounting and all projects that are supported will also be subject to complete due dilligence so that the funds get to where they are needed most," he said

Whilst Networking4Africa only formally launches on September 1st this year, it is evident that the monies raised could be substantial.  Of the funds raised and allocated to the project fund, 100% is used for the projects and charities that Networking4Africa supports.  There are no administrative fees or salaries deducted, which must be a first for this type of initiative.

We watch with interest and excitement as the launch day gets closer as it is not often that a transparent initiative with such a great cause is launched.
