Hotel Izulu Presents a Culinary Extravaganza for Women’s Day

The five star eco-luxury Hotel Izulu, Ballito, invites guests to indulge in an à la carte ‘Poolside Lunch’ set in the magnificent organic gardens, in celebration of Women’s Day on Monday 9, August at the cost of R180.00 per person, created by leading Executive Chef, Guy Gorrie.

This signature lunch includes – a salad station consisting of various options such as rocket, balsamic roasted beetroot, gorgonzola and walnut salad, a garden salad giving guests the opportunity to create their own and cherry tomato, caper and cucumber salad.

At the soup station, guests can indulge in a clear tomato and basil broth or chilled courgette and basil soup. The cold station presents a section of decadent oysters, smoked salmon and a selection of sushi. For a delicious braai option - freshly cooked linefish, spatchcock lemon and herb baby chicken and garlic prawns are available. The substantial vegetable station offers organic roasted baby potatoes, French fries, buttered spinach and green beans all from the Hotel’s extensive herb and vegetable garden. The dessert station will tantalise the taste buds with a gin and tonic sorbet, fresh fruit salad and crème brulè. All of this indulgence is inclusive of two glasses of Izulu red or white per person
